We are conducting research interviews and would love to hear about your experiences with using or providing genetic services. 

Interviews are 30-60 minutes long and are conducted through Zoom and over the phone. Translation services are provided. Participants will receive a gift card as a thank you!

Patients

Do you self identify as a person of color who has accessed or tried to access genetic testing in Ontario?

Eligibility criteria:

  • Must be over the age of 18

  • Must have sought, been referred to, received, or declined genetic services.

Are you a cancer genetics provider or primary care physician?

Eligibility criteria:​

  • Must be over the age of 18

  • Must be a cancer genetics provider such as an oncologist, genetic counsellor, geneticist, or a primary care physician

Are you a Genetics Researcher and/or a Research Leader?

Eligibility criteria:

  • Must be over the age of 18

  • Must be a researcher who works with genetic testing, genomic testing or genomics

  • Must be at a TAHNSN-affiliated institute and/or a Canadian funding organization

Genetic Research Participants

Do you identify as a person of color who has participated in genetics research?

Eligibility criteria:

  • Must be over the age of 18

  • Must self-identify as racialized

  • Must have participated in a previous genetics-related research study
